Yup..i got in but did not sign the contract as my parents disapproved on the training which was to be conducted at Hong Kong and the fact that the basic pay is not much as it is a turn-ard flights...

Aniwae, y dun u ask ur fren (she's already in Jetstar???) whether there is any recruitment or not..???

If im not mistaken, basic pay is abt $600/$700+++ (after deduction of CPF)..but after the 6 mths probation complete, there will be increment due to allowances.....i guess...the pay is quite similar to Tiger, since they are all budget carrier

Seriously, i really wanna join Jetstar to gather experience first b4 i try some other establish airline..However, i tink the pay is not comparable with the amt of work that a cabin crew has to put in..Just imagine, u have to do turn-ard flights...got to do the cleaning by urself since Jetstar do not hire domestic cleaners to do the job..its the crew who hv to do it..

Furthermore, im the sole-breadwinner in my family. So, the pay plays an important role..

But then again, its up to the individual to either accept the job or not...If ur really keen to try Jetstar..go and give it a shot..
