Flymice/Astrogirl: I went to Dr Chee of Astique, Georgia Lee and Martin Huang. For brow is to lift - not for wrinkles. i am lucky cos no wrinkles around eyes in late 30s. All charge around the same despite receiving reg. customer discount -still not the cheapest in town. Chee being the cheapest. I trust all of them cos they hv high vol. This is impt if you dun wan an obvious botox-ed constant shock look. :P To me, cost is secondary. Skill is no. 1 priority. (But does not mean doc must be famous. High vol is more impt.)

I hv also tried diff types of fillers for lower eye bag but none r good. one type made it worse. In the end, dr. Jung's lower eyelid op works better. My eyebags r gone! Alamak, wasted all my money n time.

DMN: are you still please with your brows? actually, after brow lift, can you still plya with your eyebrows? play as in make a lot of faces with them like both eyebrow raised up very high and have a shock look. both brows very low and act angry or jus tthe quizical one eyebrow up one eyebrow down look. i'm very scared that i'll lose control over my facial expressisn.

ya i only realise when i asked for the price of filler

previously i used to visit him often
until he merge with other doctors
before he do a lot patient a day
cos everytime i m there a few will be going on
bt i nvr asked cos at that time it juz nvr occured to me my nose is flat haha
guess no time look mirror

lol. so you have not been going to him already? I might consider going to him, if his skills are good. 1200 is seriously cheap for a nose. That's why I have doubts.

hi fushiacotton

his rhinoplasty price v tempting rite? tats why the clinic assistant ask why would i want filler for my nose?

i did went to his previous clinic but i was treated by other doctors.
haizz...he was always nt in and i m always those last minute type
until recently after my facial 'effects' start wear off
tat i went back to his current clinic where he sees full day

my frenz and i r still quite amazed how he can give us tat visible results on our face..black magic?
heehee a little bit of gossip, one of TCS ajie before wedding see him for treatment wor..

oh about seeing his rhino works,
yep i ever seen his patients post op come back
bt nt good look though..so cant say it nice or nt
wats more then i nvr into nose augmentation mah..
bt they dont have those thin and skinny type

btw now my deswelled filler nose adds little height to my bridge
bt i like it

bt a doctor told me in most cases filler nose last 6-9mths only
and tat i can try to prolong wif a booster after 3 weeks

anyone have this experience? and can have the results extended?

thanks!

hi ellin18

Dr Chuang seems high profile in TWN
knew he wrote a lot of articles from magazines
and he comes across as a really genuine and caring doctor
this is the most important for me

PS swelling takes time to heal
it is very individual too
so just stay happy and the recovery will be faster

Anyway people, I just had Resylene filler injected this morning under my eyes to fill the "groove" that is said will correct my undereye circles. However, I'm facing uneven swelling(left eye swells more than right),redness and tenderness. It seems to worsen my eyebags! Anyone had such experience with fillers before? Is this normal? I'm afraid the doctor had injected TOO MUCH causing an obvious lump. Though my doctor is known to be reputable, I'm still really worried. Does anyone know when will the swelling subside for this kinda filler issue?

Thanks in advance!!
hi kalyn

i had HA to correct my dark eye rings too!
the lumpiness will go after awhile
mine last only 3 mere weeks
sad!
bt my perlane lump is still there after nearly 4 years!
i have learned to live with it

Hi candall, how are you?
thank you for replying.

I will continue doing my search. road shows eh? sounds interesting.
Are you thinking of getting your eyes done as well?

Does anyone know of other patient sites that talk about double eyelid surgery and facial surgery., esp. taiwan or chinese sites. I'm trying to find patient testimonies for sappho clinic and Boai.

Thank you

Hi DMN, how are you?

I didn't realize you got a brow lift. how do you like your results and which method did the doctor use?

thank you :)

foubelle: at the moment, i can 'play' with my brows. but not as much as i used to n seems will revert as it heals. given a choice again, i wld certainly do endoscopdic brow lift cos it will lift oso the upper eye lid and corner of eyes.

btw:
am attaching a side profile of my nose.

the hump on tip is supposed to flatten over time as tip lengthen over time.

(ANYONE with similar hump-ed tip postoperative 1 mth and it did flatten n lengthen over time??? Also, seems the hump comes from some cartilage-feeling stuff right under the alar - below the bridge. When I clean they r causing blockage. What r they??? Permanent features or will drop or will downsize over time??? Quite blur.)

one can see that the alar is still below tip from side and was told as tip moves down the alar will be higher.

the projection is still not ideals considering above. i have 5 more months to hold my breath....

Hi DMN
Thanks for sharing. I agree with you, not all plastic surgeons are sure to be good with botox, it really depends on their volumn, if they have done many botox and their experience.
I did eye bags last year, and my left lower lid appears to have some hollowness. Anything to share regarding this? Thanks.
Did you do fillers for eye bag before and then did lower bleph/eye bag thing?
