Practicing Spanish

Post by cherubbie » Wed, 13 Jun 2007 1:31 am

Hola,

Just came back recently from Spain about a week ago to take up the Spanish language for a short five weeks. Went to Salamanca and immersed myself in the language (I lie, for I also immersedin their dirt cheap cerveza, vino y chupitos)

Am currently working at the Spanish Tourism Board so I can't and don't want to lose what I already learnt and learn new stuff - schools at the moment are currently out of my budget since I blew most of it away in Salamanca.

Anyone up for some practice? I am not bad but I wouldn't say I am exceedingly good either.

Hola

I know some very basic spanish, did a beginners course, but have gotten rusty as there is not enough people to practice with. So is this group open to people who can speak very little and basic spanish but keen on improving it?

Adios

Hola Gov

Yes, you're welcome to join. Members of the group are of varying proficiency levels. You'll definitely improve after hanging out with more Spanish speaking people.

Someone is even going to bring a Spanish scrabble set and teach us how to play.

The directions to Abrazos can be found on

Hasta manana
:)
