Hi everyone,
As I am a newbie in this forum, I don't really know the preferences of the members. Although popular sports like football, basketball, tennis attract me, I have a history of 9 years with waterpolo. I have come across some websites talking about the national waterpolo team of Singapore. I thought there should be some clubs and even a league. From this website I have seen there are many swimming pools. Does anyone know how I can keep in touch with some of these clubs? I am in Budapest at the moment and I will aprobably arrive in Singapore Feb 2007. Thanks for your help.

Thanks to both KeriT and Mr Q for the useful information. I will try to contact them about joining their team or at least participating in the trainings.
Have a nice weekend.
With my kind regards

I have joined NUS waterpolo team and it has been 2 weeks now. It is a great pleasure for me to play again after a long break.
Every Tuesday evening at 7-7:30 pm we have the trainings at NUS. Any expat who has waterpolo history and who would like to join trainings are most welcome.
With my kind regards

As far as I know, there is no waterpolo team for girls. NUS team has around 20 players, all men. However, there is a team for canoe polo which is a hybrid game of water polo and canoeing. I have seen girls participating in that training which starts around 8:30-9 pm and probably finishes around 10:30-11 pm on Tuesdays. If you are interested in that, I can try to find a contact for you or you can check NUS website for canoe polo. There you may find the contact of the team captain.
With my kind regards
