That would be pretty hard if you're standing below 155. Reckon cause you won't be able to reach the luggage cabin on top. So far, haven't seen any airlines with 150cm and above.

I only know of 1 airline that recruits stewardesses above 156cm and that will be Gulf Air which is based in Bahrain.

Hi Desijoey,
yup yup. I agree with you.. or Cathay Pacific and United Airlines where you need to reach 208cm (tiptoe). As long as you are able to reach that height, they will let u clear the height round.
Cheers!

Paige - what is "208 cm"? Is it the tip of an outstetched arm to your toe?

i understand about the height issue as i am hovering 155cm too..i read that there is a chance to join airline still but minor chance (we have to realistic here) that is
commuter airline where they have lower ceiling so their height requirement isn't that strict but mainly in the USA/Europe i think.
no fret, here is a list of airline u might want to consider. any one tried other airline besides SIA/JAL/Emirates etc the non international airline where they recruit less than 158cm? or 5ft and above?

Hi amie_1979,
I had tried Gulfair and their minimum height requirement is 156cm but you have to station in Bahrain..

I think you are in for a shock; budget airlines in europe favour the 737 but the height requiremen is around 157.5cm. I doubt if there are any airlines that recruit under that height. Too short is too short.....

Exactly exactly, that's why there is a height requirement.

The height requirement is also more of a safety precautionary issue.

Personally I think this is BS. CPF is savings scheme and not a pension. This is a bad outcome for Singaporeans etc who migrated to NZ.
