ONE SIMPLE REASON.
Our desire for the job overweighs our fear of casualties...
Besides, most of Us are trying in out for SQ, which is the, if not, 1 of the safest airlines in the world.

How bout you not eating so much?
It will decrease the risk of you getting food poisoning, seeing there are many such cases cropping up these days too?

Probably stop living, because you will face diseases, natural disasters, terrorism attacks and eventually death?

It's not that but I guess it was the structuring of your statement.

Yes can be a little paranoid about it after all on the plane any accident is likely to be fatal. The danger is there we cannot deny.
Also true that accident rate is much higher on the road and other circumstance and it ll be dumb to deprive ourselves of the opportunity cos of this. Hey also ironic as our role is to assure others safety and have absolute confidence in the airline and the captain.
by the way safest airline in the world so far Qantas 0 accident track record.

In the Garuda Indonesia plane crash in Yogyakarta, correct me if i'm mistaken - all the cabin crews perished. It triggered me to imagine what it would be like if i were one of them. In the last moments before the anticipated crash (the plane should be unstable i guess), would you, a cabin crew on board be still 'working', looking out for your pax or would you be thinking how to keep yourself alive? I wonder what happened in those moments. Sigh.

THANK GOD NOTHING HAPPEN TO ME.
If it's happen it happen. Not my luck if it does.
But one thing for sure if anyone ask why we get higher pay?
That's the reason why, it's life risky.

Pity the vehicles stuck and nowhere to escape in the jam..
I thought lorries had another area to queue?
Last post
Yes, if I’m not mistaken lorries are supposed to be an entirely different part of the road, just like those coming in by bus and motorcycle.

Plane; A380 changed to B777 - compensation
Replies: 1
First post
I booked a flight and, as stated, it was the superior A380. But at check-in told now B777.
I consider that what I received was not what I bought...
Last post
Probably not but check the T&Cs:

China Eastern plane deliberately downed?

It felt so initially when the news came out, why would the plane fly down in such speed and decline.. :???:

I’ve seen plenty of vids in the news that are supposedly recent, can tell by cam quality too that they are not old incidents.
