Anybody got Starhub HD yet??

Is it worth it ? just for 2 channels. Do you have to pay extra for the HD versions of the channels?
Is it 720 or 1080 ?

I'm tempted but not sure

I was on the HD trial and so got the whole world cup in HD + some other programming. The HD picture is much better, but not only that, because you have a hdmi (or dvi) connection to your screen, even the standard channels appear to have a better picture quality. I have both the standard and HD box so can compare. I know it's only National Geo and Discovery at the moment, but that will change and for me, it's definitley worth it.

I am thinking of getting it, but only after they come up with new channels that are worth seeing in HD. No way am gonna pay 15 bucks per month to see NatGeo and Discovery in HD.

Thanks for the replies. The general quality improvement sounds good but 15 bucks is a lot for 2 channels a month.

Good point but thats 15 bucks on top of the 200 i'm already paying so by comparison i'd already be drunk when i ordered the last pint.

Maybe i should get drunk AND get HD from starhub
