I don't really think you should be thinking about that at 17... or even 18.

I used to live in LA - I have see young girls having procedures done, and I have seen the ones that did it and 10 years latter they look like something out of a horror movie.....

a 17 year-old sweetie is always sweet, regardless single or double eyelid.
come on, be more confident on yourself.

yep age not a prob.. but i suggest you have a talk with your parents first + a few consultation with the doctor, understand the pros n cons about what you are gonna do + have a good serious thought whether do u reali want and NEED to do it. :)

why do people have eyelid surgery? I heard Jackie Chan had had it done but to be honest, I can't see any difference.

Save your money - I bet your eyes are lovely as they are.

17 years old is soooo young and pretty, why you want to do that?
My colleague who is 34 did it last year in Gleneagles Hospital Singapore, the outcome was extremely good, her eyes look really sparkling and BIG now..
But did you know it was sooooooooo tough and torturing for about 14days during healing and recovery time? HER eyes, eyes bags and skin around were swollen like a panda or badly beaten, she must not let water go into her eyes and so on, she ate only very light diet, no soysauce or black sauce, can't go out, wore dark sunglasses at home etc... I visited her sometime and i really pity her.
But if you really like it and if big eyes with double eyelids will boosted your confident and enhance your beauty, just go ahead. God bless you!
