gartheven2000 wrote:I actually dunwan to comment much but since someone mention about Dr KK Lim i guess i'l just reiterate what i noe(or dun noe).

I do not know for sure whether this KK Lim is some PS i been to vist last time but once i went to a PS doctor at one of the older shopping malls which i couldn't remember. This PS had a good reputation in the past (60s, 70s?) and is a Christian now, his clinic is chinese decor and there're many certs on the courses and conferences he went to on the wall.

Well, i actually saw 2 of his patients are the eyelid surgery done is extremely fake!!! Serious...i'm very objective in this...probably is stitching method. All i can say is that is Dr KK Lim reminds me of that PS. So visit him if u wan, however if Dr Lim matches perfectly my above description, then exercise extreme caution.

i second this. thumbs down to him

Do you have Dr Seah's contact for singapore.

I just called Dr Su's office for Taiwan.. And enquired in detail my concerns.

For korean style, both stitiching and minimal incision, it is not permanent. The recep says it is for a couple of years depending on individuals.. good part about the minimal incision is that, fats are removed. But for stitching, no fats removed.

She suggest that i go for the permanent type.

Kai Yan Tou and Kai Yan Wei is to lengthen the eye. Not everyone suits it.

So all need consultation from doc.

Now i am thinking of just doing it back home a permanent traditional type..

But i am not keen on Dr Wong because he is relatively old..

sigh.. really upset..

i can sense that u still have doubts for kai yan toh as the scarring issue should be an big issue to u.

I still suggest u go to her since u going to taiwan, to let her see, since her consultation is free. her skills i have more confident than spore doctor. and in eyelid, skill and exp is the most impt as no implany is involved. she is specialist in eyelid and i believe there is no much doc can compare to her in eyelid surgery.
btw, i still think perm one is more suitable for u as ur eyelid quite droppy.

next, Taiwan is cheaper. Dr Su cost just 1.3k. The weather there now is suitable for healing, thats y the taiwanese heals much faster than us. also, u can go around w/o ppl staring at you, rather than stay at home for 2 weeks coz u dun dare let ur fren caught u.

In eyelid surgery, i have heard more unhappy job than happy one in spore..no joke
Golden Rules of PS:
1)If it aint broken, dun fix it / dun fix what u dun need
2)Perfect individual features usually dun yield perfect face
3)Work on your confidence 1st

contradicting to most ppl.

the so called perm double eyelid is not really perm. some ppl has reported that the crease disappear after 3 yrs. of coz most ppl will stay for at least 10 yrs..

this may due to the skill of the doc, the person eyelid fats and muscle structure and of coz the diet of that person.

http://www.wishclinic.com.tw/contact_1.htm Wish's map
http://home.trtc.com.tw/INFO92/ebig.asp?SID=010 Dr Su's Map

their clinic is just 1 mrt away..

MRT Map
http://home.trtc.com.tw/INFO92/ebig.asp?SID=091

!st, when u drop at CKS airport, buy a ezlink card, u take a direct bus to Taipei main station or the station near ur hotel, drop ur luggage and off to clinic for consultation and ops. finisehd, go back in cab or mrt. rest, go out shopping. remember ur sunglasses and cap.

u should ask the wish clinic for advice, they should have good reccomendation for u. there are many USD20-30 budget but clean hotels around. u can ask them to book for u.

actually u can get a budget hotel at Taipei Main Station. Since u only need to go to the clinic twice, u can take buses or mrt (zhong Xiao Dun Hua stn exit 8) there and back. staying near the main station can allow u go shopping and site seeing at xi mend ding and shi lin via there their mrt.

from Taipei main station to Zhong xiao dun hua is only 6 mins.

for budget hotel u can try ww.asiarooms.com
http://www.asiarooms.com/taiwan/taipei/kilin.html Kilin hotel budget.
http://www.asiarooms.com/taiwan/taipei/ ... astle.html another budget hotel, better

another way is u bid fir hotels in taipei starting for sgd 20 and increase by 5 each time till some 3 stars hotel accept ur bid. exciting coz u cant choose ur hotel..
