hello. anyone care to share the walk in interview process yesterday?
like how was the crowd like? waiting time? passing rate per group? interview questions etc.
saw someone posted that there was more than 1000 interviewees? the waiting time sounds like madness.

Hi Blizz, Congrats! Don't worry too much. Bring yourself and dress nicely ok? If you are a guy,put on a tie...long sleeve shirt. No jeans or denim materials are allowed. Don't talk too much, just be nice, pleasant and humble. Greet everyone when you meet them, even the cleaning women. Guys are not allowed to wear earrings. Get rid of your tatoos especially those visible ones.
There will be a lot of form fillings and stuff like that. CCE Miss Gladys Chia or one of the staff will come to your class. Stand up and greet them when they step into the classroom...well if you all forget that part of the courtesy, you may be forgiven,at least for the first day. Your main instructor ( Basic course instructor) may be Miss Foo or Mr. Raymond Leong or Mr. Thomas Chia or someone else. Remember this,be good to all your instructors especially your basic instructor because they will decide whether you stay with SIA or you go.
Band together with your batch people because you need each other's support, both mental and physical. Don't be a smart Alec unless you want a quick exit.
I will be here occasionally. If you need advice you can pm me,that includes every members here. You can also visit me at http://bohtong.blogspot.com
Good Luck!

Yoman, care to explain what do you mean when the auntie said that "your job is not relevant" ??

From the way you put it, its like you've to work in the customer service sector first before joining SIA. Is that true? Care to explain.

Need help here!

Post by Luv_BA » Mon, 13 Nov 2006 7:46 pm

This is regarding the SIA medical check up. If I fail the medical check up, can I still apply for SIA again?

Actually, mine was just a case of childhood asthma. I big mouth and go and tell the doctor that.. I am ok now, with no sickness whatsoever.

Does anyone know if SIA keep our medical checkup reports?

How long do they keep our files?

I wanted to try again really badly but I am afraid that if they see my past medical check up fail, then they won't let me through again.

Sad..

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance.
To be or not to be, that's a question
