mole remover

Post by tanjhj » Sat, 07 Oct 2006 12:08 am

hi, i have a raised mole below my nose thus i am not able to shave properly.. i am thinking of removing it but scared of pain or scar. i wonder if anyone has good recommendation for a good mole remover place? of coz budget is a constraint, i wonder if those beauty saloon or mole remover shop does good mole removing job? i saw a mole removing specialist near cityhall inside a three levels shophouse shopping center know as stamford house. diagonally across the junction of SMU.

went to skin center and the doc told me it is going to cost 200+ to remove the mole and scar is inevitable? i was thinking a small mole also need so much, some more will leave scar.

about the nose, it was a very implusive decision, if i have the time and the guts, i will redo it, and do a open rhinoplasty with a L shape implant instead of just a I shape implant - makes not much a difference.. no one noticed any way.. hahahahas, my eyes is still swollen and the scars is so obvious. i'm kinda worried, since in school everyone is quite conservative about such things, i am not such how they will react..

open incision has better result as it is much easier to reconstruct and shape the nose and tip as u can see it directly. Dr Jung, korea top nose doc, prefer open incision at the side however it seem the world prefer it to be done va nostril. of coz the scaring is greater but it seem dr jung is very confident of his skill.

apparently, I shape implant is easier to do do thus nostril incision is good enough. if tip reconstruction is involved open may be better as you can know that the implant is not forced too close to the skin. which will result in rapture at the later period.

i did it in yanhee, can i see a picture of what the L shape rhinoplasty? wonder how it looks like? i did my nose with doctor sukit in march and he does only I shape, i went ahead anyways, the results is nice, but i would have prefer it shaper, but it looks natural - so i guess its good anyways.

i suppose dr greenchart in yanhee is suitable for implant. though dr sukit is a awesome doctor, he's really nice and takes time explaining to you about your concerns and emails you about how the recovery is going.

i did my eyes with dr greenchart and with a chin implant, maybe cause my eyes are swollen, my friends at work prefers my eyes before then after....

Hi Crashed, I believe you did not research enough before doing your eyelids and hence you have unrealistic expectations of the healing process.
Eyelid surgery takes a much longer time to heal. It has only been 3 weeks so from what you described, it is normal. Dont panic.
It will take about 1 month before the redness subside. However the swelling will take about 3 months. For your eyes to look completely naturaly will take 4-6months.
You can probably apply makeup after 1 month to cover the scar and redness. My friend who did it hid at home for 3 months before she dared to face the world.

yupz i agree totally with what u said, on top her not preparing enough, crashed have overdid her surgery to the point of losing her identity i would say harshly but i am worried for her. plastic surgery is not to change one's identity but to enhance it.

overdoing it will result in Micheal Jackson compulsive behaviour. that is the psychology needed for plastic surgery instead of just physical alone.

i sincerely recommend one to know the real reason before going for surgery. one need to like oneself before others can like you.

i expected the healing process for the eyelids to be ard 2 week..

well, its my decision to change any part of my body or face, i dont think its right for any one to stereotype me as a person like this.

at least i am happy. thats all that counts right
