yes, no doubt they are. i joined with only O levels cert. But i'm holding on to a pte diploma too. Yet to get the transcript though. Like i said, educational is just a gauge. You wouldn't want primary school holders to come and apply do you? whereby i believe their pronunciations of english could be far worse then you could ever imagine. And you definately don't want a sq FA to be speaking 'singlish' to international pax right?

hmmm.. i heard that SIA do not accept gers who are married, but you can marry once u're with them. As for guys, for sure, they can be married... Someone correct me if im wrong..

no such thing. it is just that consequently applying for 3 times in a row and not accepting/rejecting, you might be blacklisted

there might be cases around but extremely slim chances. It is because married girls are commited to their family. The job of an FA needs alot of travelling. I guess even if you got in, you will have have to try very hard to convince the interviewers why you want this job badly.

Sorry if there is any mistake in this posting as this is my first time here. I am very keen in join SIA. I had tried twice before. One in Feb and the other in July. For the first I got kick out during the one to one interview and the second during the water confidence test. As BlancD mention above that you will be blacklisted if tried thrice in a row. I wanted to go for the interview next week. If I dun get in this time, does it means that I will be blacklisted and would not be able to participate in the recruitment exercise again.

erm from wad the recruitment lady told me during the mgmt interview is that for those who fail during any interviews before the mgmt rd...they are able to apply any other time as soon as there is another recruitment..

however for those who fail mgmt rd...they can only come back 6 mths later?
but how true is it im not sure la.....
so...for those who fail at the mgmt rd...u may jus go for the walk in again and ask them bt it? or maybe don ask at all? who knows u get thru all the way?

i don think u will be blacklisted...my frd tried more than 3 times before getting in...it somehow....depends on luck?

its like...2 years back i was booted out even before any interview cos my height is 157? the lady jus ask me to go home............ =(

but....i tried again for the recent july intake...my height is still 157..and now im in!!

Next weekend should be the third recruitment exercise in 2006 that SIA's held. Is it because of the new fleet of aircraft that they've just purchased?

So... could anyone here give us a hint as to when the next recruitment might be? Perhaps October, judging from the previous ones?
