The votes are in, America needs to unite now

Postby Proud + Curious American » Wed, 03 Nov 2004 7:08 pm

The votes are in and they show the vast Majority of Americans chose President Bush, why is this so hard for some to accept? This is democracy and the majority rules...I feel for Kerry supporters (while I am estatic that Bush won I would have been sick to my stomach had he not and I am sure that, that is exactly how they are feeling too) but what I would not do is whine, complain and shout wrong doing.

Its not time for American's to unite and get behind their President (and this would be the case had Kerry won too).

I agree with your point for sure, but it seems many dems these days prefer to whine and cry about all the perceived 'injustices' they constantly suffer. Hope I'm wrong in that statement, but I'm not holding my breath.

Dems behaving badly

GROW UP already!

Oh no, I am afraid it is not going to go smoothly at all. I too, fail to understand why dems. don't accept that the majority wanted and choose Bush and why they can't be a tad more mature.

I mean, what are you going to do, sit around and pout for 4 years. No, what I am sure they will do (most unfortunately) is sit around and create more division within the US, bad mouth their own Country, all of those who didn't vote their way, yell about life's injustice's, and create and churn ill will to all. As well as take every opportunity to point, accuse, slander and in general bring shame to American's everywhere.

I would not behave in this way if Kerry had won (just as you didn't see huge masses of Bush supporter's) taking every opportunity to bad mouth Kerry and make arrogant rants about winning at every corner prior to the election either.

You can count on Dems. to yell the loudest, cry the loudest and make a fuss when things don't go their way.

Quite silly, I'd say. Do they really know, no shame?

Hmm...well let's see:

they favor same sex marriage[/BB]

partial birth abortion up to 7 months(which is murder--the mother or killer actually has labour induced, gives birth and once the shoulders are out of the female's womb, a hole is plugged into the babies head and the brains allowed to drain before the body is disposed of)..go figure, might as well give birth and dump it in the dumpster, essence of what is happening here. I mean it is a woman's choice, but wouldn't you know in the early stages? Why wait until the 7th month?

"NO doctor, I only want it if it is a boy and has soft blonde hair, so let's get this one out so we can get on with another try." Very sad, but some do use abortion as birth control and the least we can do is enforce humane standards for the ending of life.

Dems. claim to be liberal, educated and open-minded but get furious at the suggestion that their could be other view points in the world and result in calling names, dragging America's name through the mudd and making a freak show out of America instead of letting everyone focus on the true issues at hand.

Just like a spoilt child, kicking, screaming and red faced when things don't go their way. Enough said. Good night.

I just mourn this day and we will all mourn for the next four years. Not moan but mourn.

Hey Mourner,

Don't speak your curses out on everyone else. I for one am very happy and obviously the majority of American People are also happy since we are the ones who CHOSE President Bush.

So before you go spreading your gloom and doom, size up your audience first, I'd say you'd have a better chance at finding supporters at the local pub on Orchard.

And if all else fails, see a doctor, I've heard zoloft can really help, so if you continue to feel morbid, and mournful then by all means do yourself a favor and get some help.

Guess it's true then! Over 50% of Americans own a gun and a bible. Bush got back in. Of course, the Americans with a brain are now streaming out of the country and looking for PR elsewhere.

Well I hear that Bush, & Blair spend weekends at the ranch, these days, with their guns, bibles, and zoloft on the rocks!

Well, if there's a draft, I hope that all Bush voters get to go first: it's only fair that you all be first in line at Fallujah, you voted for him.

What majority? You win by a few percentage points, and you call that a majority? At least we know Republicans can't count. But what will happen is that they pretend they have a clear mandate to ride roughshod over the other half that didn't vote for them.....cue Patriot 2, anyone?
