How is the quality?Do any problems occur?How are your experiences in general with SKYPE?
FYI, would like to use it for business purposes!
So can you recommend it?
I am looking forward to your replies!

Hi.
I'm definately an old big fan of SKYPE after trying numbers of communication software in making international calls thru internet.
Reasons simply are:
(1) convenient - call to either fixed line phone or cellphone at overseas;
(2) good quality - clear receive and less disturbance as compare to other communicators, of course, it's still long way to compete with the local cellphone or fixed line;
(3) competitive charge - minimum topup rate at Euro 10 (equivalent to around SGD22) for each time is just rock-bottom as compare to any IDD. The best is to communicate with your counterpart via SKYPE-to-SKYPE at 100% free.
Thru the experiences in making calls to New York, Japan and Malaysia for years, I would like to recommend the followings as to enjoy various magical features of SKYPE:
(1) Headset - a good headset play an important role in order to have a good quality call via SKYPE. Reasonable investment for this device will not be wasted as you may use it for any other purpose.
(2) Destination - area that you call to is something very subjective and out of your control. For example, always experience disturbance and noise while calling to some places in Malaysia ie. Ipoh City, perhaps it's due to their existing old infrastructure which causes poor network down there. Surprisingly, weather of the destination will affect the call quality too particulary when raining and thundering.
(3) Peak Hour - try to avoid call during peak hours (12pm-4pm & 7.00pm-10pm). The call quality is vary between the calls made at off peak hours (ie. midnight) and those at peak hours.
As conclusion, I'm enjoying so much with SKYPE's call service. The call quality could be improved;
just be prepared it's not completely compete with those made from your mobilephone or fixed line... unless you've got the right concepts and minimise any potential disturbance during the call via SKYPE.
Hope these help.
Cheers!
