Electrical contract in Construction are dying

Post by kencoco » Thu, 03 Aug 2006 12:30 am

Hi all

Did anybody in related to the construction notice that these days to secure a contract is so much difficult after lots of commando contractors ruling the market with ridiculous tender price and rates, yet provide sub-standard workmanship or finishing.

Worst come more when you are got a project awarding just for the sake of hanging on, there comes the late/delay progress payments and stupids in-house fines just to makes your project account turn negatives, why our gov cant take a step to revamp it.

With so much ISO procedures implemented which supposed mend to make our works tracable yet became delayable.

I am honestly losing my interest to hang-on after seeing and learning many same trade friends are switching to another fields.

What you guys thinks

Thanks

By attaining ISO does not gaurantee standards. It only means that the company have the means to produce acceptable outputs. And that they have to constantly and religiously follow the sets of rules to achieve it.
