Well since SIA is looking for indonesian women right now, will they still want Singapore women in the future? It kinda scares me if this might happen in the long run. Any opinions?
Hi Missviolette,

I'm sure they will still need lots of Singaporean Women, becuz SIA is STILL.. SINGAPORE AIRLINE - who can represent them best except Singaporeans?

Well Im kinda relieved to hear that and yeah its true. But you'll never know that in the long run though. On top of that, I think some indonesian women are really more beautiful and have more qualities than a SG women. I think lets just look on the brighter side of life =)
anyway thanks hun, appreciate it really

cheers

It's true.. women from Indonesia and other parts of Asia are more demure and virtuous, but Singaporean women are also more confident and sophisticated.. i think each has their own "selling points" and thats why they need ppl of diversified backgrounds to fill up each other's gaps and short-comings..

Whatever it is, I'm sure all of us are still proud to be Singaporean Women! Keke~ :D

those on notification

Post by Astroboy » Wed, 02 Aug 2006 3:36 pm

hi to all,

just thinking that those who have immediate notice got their call earliest...on the training date..

and those who gave notice most of us haven got call yet on the guys' side...

but i think they should call to confirm after the medical
so that those who needs to tender can tender
and not be left hanging.....

who knows really what happens ah for those who give notice, 1 or 2 or more months?

my fren say got a call first, for training date, then wait for email/mail for letter and contract signing date???

Should be 'Chocks away'. Propeller driven aircraft used to be secured by chocks under the wheels and when the pilot was ready to commence take of that was his order to the ground staff. (try to find an old war film that will show you). I don't think this procedure is in use much these days if at all.

Plavt.
