Hello Slivercat,

you sound very experience. are you an air crew yourself? and can I know if really there's a lot of resignation after the bonus?

Hi ladies,

I am really upset that I missed the recent SIA interviews.Does anyone know when is the next intake? I am 24 this year and turning 25 years old next year. Will I be too old for the application then? :(
Dont worry girl,
the next intake will be up pretty fast, considering a lot of people resigned after taking the lump sum bonus this month. 25 is not old at all. I have seen people that are much older joining. Some people look younger than their age.

For those worrying over the complexion problem..,
you dont need to have a clear flawless complex... not everyone is that fortunate. SIA would need to hire people that looks ok.. that is, no major serious flaws like tatoo, acne... if it boost ur confidence to put no thick makeup to cover, go for it. But do it right. If not, go natural.

For those worrying about the min height issues..,
the main reason behind the min height is that u must be able to close the overhead compartment on the aircarft.

To waiting to sign bond,
cleaning toilet is for the safety/security, and for the cleanliness sake. Its part of the job scope and its also a parcel of our daily household chores. Nowsadays, newbies dont get bullied as like prev. So dont worry about that, but rather focusing on doing your work right. Married ppl.. definitely. many are even couple-coded to fly. no problem in this issue at all.
Hi SilverCat,

I'm aware that married couples enjoy the privilege of being able to fly together. But I didn't know that it applies to 'normal' couples as well? By the way, I heard that SIA bonus is pretty attractive, which is every quarterly??

With the height issues, if I passed my Kebaya fitting round, will that mean that my height is acceptable?

Hi SilverCat,

What if my spouse is not working with SIA.

Will being married affect my chances of getting into SIA?

Waiting to sign bond.

My mgmt was on the 10th, cos I chose it to be on that day. My water confidence was on the 6th July. 1 day after urs. I tot my water confidence elimination rate was really bad, didn't expect urs to be worst. 14/39 (i read ur previous post). Mine was 19/41...

According to the 'Ms lau' (mgmt interviwer), the medical check was the last part, it's like a formality instead of a elimination round. Solely based on the medical report. However. there is still rejection at this point.

When was ur mgmt?

kOKO,

mgmt interview....is it the same as final interview (jus b4 the teaparty?)

Coz in my letter it is referred to as the final interview, not mgmt interview.

It was on the 7th Jul for me...

Ya, mgmt interview aka final interview. Urs was on the 7th July. Den probably u met some of my so-called batch girls. Cos right after the personality test and evaluation. We were given a choice for the final interview, either 7th or 10th. I chose the 10th.

Ur name??
