hello beann sproutttt =)

psychometric test is more of an assessment than a test, it assesses ur ability, personality, ur take on the job basically. these tests are like tools for employee selection. so in some cases where ur rejection from SIA seems not apparent to you even though u have all the looks, skin, etc, it could be due to the test.

so my word of advice is do not take the test lightly.! As i am from a goverment job currently, what i do know is the test which i took before joining my present job plays a part in deciding whether if i am suitable for the position i was applying or some thing like from my answers they can assess whether i am of mgmt level, etc.

however im explaining all these on the basis of general psychometric test,
as for the SIA psychometric test, i guess its about the same, its probably used for assessing mainly our skills, ability and personality and also our likely performance in work for them from the standardised answers we gave..

hope this helps..dont take it lightly yeah!
good luck!
:P

Hmmm... I went on 2nd July. In our case, they issued a piece of paper after the 1-1 interview and we were to collect our letter at a counter. In the letter it then states the when, venue & time of the next round..
