A quiet place to study???

Post by oneilcrowley2000 » Tue, 20 Jun 2006 3:16 pm

Anyone can recommend a quiet place to study for exam???

I know that public libraries do not allow users to bring in outside materials for studying............. how about those those polytechnic libraries?? do they allow access by outsiders???

check out the airport lounges. they're usually filled with students laying all over the place studying. looks terrible but I guess it's better than hari krishnas like in u.s. airports.

I think the budget terminal only has one tenant in it, so it should be fairly noise free. The couple of libraries I've been in are very noisy anyway and never go on a week-end. :-|

as a student i used to study in a nearby community centre that had an airconditioned study room. very quiet. not sure if they still have those.

Matney, i miss quiet libraries too. haven't been to the budget terminal and am curious who the sole tenant is?

Tiger. It was just in the Straits that Jetstar/ValueAir have decided not to move to the budget terminal.

Tuk boy, have you visited a public library in Singapore lately? I've been to 2 and neither one was a quiet place to study, let alone concentrate.

Quite reading room is okay for reading. I've been in the library for most of my waking hours not spent on working or gyming.

No librarian has kicked me out thus far...

I'm sure there are shops, but doubt if they are like the ones in T1 or T2. Third floor viewing area might be a bit noisy at certain times with people watching planes in and out, but that might be your best choice out at Changi. Good luck!
