vastly better, in my opinion. the mars / venus book if i remember correctly is full of suggestions on what you could do and only cursorily on understanding how the other gender functions. this book actually helps you understand the other gender's thinking rather than give a to-do list and this understanding will guide you in deciding your actions. for me the latter sinks in much better.

he says you are critical, but you don't say how he fared in the test? take the worst aspects of his test and throw them right back at him. when he complains, you can say "now you know how it makes you feel will you stop doing it to me"

just out of interest, how far are the Cameron Highlands? :)

I think the drive is at least 3 hours - someone correct me if I am wrong. You are probably right I should be tougher. However, I was once told that in a marriage there can be only one main character either the hero or the heroine.
