Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong is reportedly planning to compete in the New York City Marathon in November.
The Texan retired from professional cycling after his record-breaking win in last year's Tour and says he is looking for a new 'activity' in his life.
"I've been training some, but I wouldn't call it serious," he told BBC Sport.
"It's just something to fill a void in my life after I quit competing as a professional cyclist."
