Which embassy?

Hi there, I am planning to go Canada to further studies, does anyone know which embassy I should look for to apply a VISA and what are the things/procedures need to be done as I am currently a PR of singapore?

Well... offhand, since you want to go to Canada, I would suggest the CANADIAN embassy.

The Canadian one? Are you sure? Actually there is no Canadian Embassy here.

Try the Canadian High Commission :) 6325-3200


Also, the fact that you are a PR here matters not one iota - what matters is your citizenship.

But i susposed, that i need to go back to my hometown to apply?

Not usually, unless you are required to furnish proof to the Canadian HC that you do not have a criminal record or other documentation that only your home-country can supply.

Evilfoxy, why don't you visit the Canadian High Commission or give them a call and take it from there. Its impossible to answer your question accurately as we don't know your nationality and maybe that could impact on what procedures are necessary to facilitate your application process, as it may vary for different countries.

Alternately try visiting their website too.

The Canadian "High" Commission? And here I thought pot was illegal in Singapore.

oh i didn't realise they earned a commission for every entry into canada, and a high commission at that! no wonder they welcome people migrating there. :lol:
