Worst Fashion and Looks Disasters.

Post by Bubbles » Thu, 17 Nov 2005 3:08 am

Come on then you lot, you can blank your faces out, but let's see your worst fash disasters, or mullet hairstyles.

I promise to post some of mine when I go looking for old pics, but honestly.......Eric will appreciate this....(cos in years gone by we had a tete a tete about the place)....when I worked at the Hollandse Club on the magazine we had to have pics to put in, and I thought mine was quite ok'ish.....till one of the editing committee said......

'Oh, that's your stunned mullet look, is it?'

Well, it took me years to realise (I mean, I hope I am right) that she meant my hairdo, and not that I looked like a bloody fish.

Still, she could have.........

Arrrgh, now I'm off to the mirror to practice fish bubble noises........arrgh, even my name fits......hahaha.

I know, I know Plavt, and the cloth their traditionally made from is woven Welsh wool.........so itchy.

Aww, it's lovely to see all the little ones in their costumes on St. David's day, and their daffodils and leeks....so sweet.

Yes, I used to have to wear mine to school in the juniors too, and yes, even I looked cute in it.

Mind you, twas ten thousand years ago, I'd look pretty dorky in one now.....

Bubbs...........Who's in the UK? Fabulous day isn't it....so blue and sparkly white frost kind of day. Off to the pub for Sunday lunch, roast beef, yorkshire pud and all the veg. And maybe some old fashioned desert with custard for afters....who cares about the calories?

Just back from a lovely walk and the Tesco's run, absolutely brilliant day out there. I'll be doing the roast with the full works later this afternoon.

By luck I don't seem to have any pic of me from the 80's during the New Romantics period thank god

Urgh . . . the 70's . . . . I'll find some long-lost pics and post them . . . Heck, I have no reputation to uphold here anyway!

Excellent. Mutton chop side burns and a jaunty bandana like scarf? Perhaps some patchwork denim and pimp platform shoes like Superfly? Oh wait! That's me

Luckily for me all old photos are stashed away in the UK, but there was a time in the 90s when I had dreadlocks & wore cowboy boots

muffin tops - girls with bellys wearing bottoms that are just too small resulting in a spillage that resembles a muffin
