Sure or not? Received a call and attend interview? Wah...your friend's sister must be very rich to pay her own air-ticket to middle-east for interview.

If anybody applied online and get shortlisted, please pay your own air-ticket to Kingdom of Bahrain for interview. Only the interviewer will know whether you've secured the job or not.
Come on lah... U sound v immature... Of cos Gulfair grp comes to sg to conduct e interview lah... Seems like u've nv been invite to such important interviews b4.. Toking to such immature people is a waste of time...

Ooi...yo...didn't know your attitude can be like this in replying.

Please refer italic-bold sentences right at the bottom of this website: http://www.qatarairways.com/0.2041.0.0.1.0.htm

Kindly do not expect and take things granted that all Airlines (for sure) will be conducting interview right at your own home country.

hi, i think colleen is talking abt gulf air not qatar.

and she is right abt that hiccup person. that hiccup person is quite irritating. u sld see the posts he/she wrote in some forum, like a childish person. and some of the thing like the pay is it the same as the budget airlines, tiger airways, jetstar, etc. i mean gulf air and qatar is international carrier, so the pay of course isn't the same as the budget airlines.

well, also, both qatar and gulf air do come to singapore to recruit and do walk-in interviews, so anyone online and if shortlisted, u will received a call from them. and as for this sentence from qatar website u provided:
Please refer italic-bold sentences right at the bottom of this website: http://www.qatarairways.com/0.2041.0.0.1.0.htm
QUOTE FROM THE WEBSITE: Regrettably, due to the volume of applications, only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

Cost of travel to the venue of the interview will be borne by the candidate.

didn't say that we have to fly over there for interview. it just means that we have to pay for our own transportation to the location, be it cabs, buses, etc. cos the journey might be long and cost more.

Cos not all the countries they go to conduct walk-in interviews are as small as singapore. for example, an interview in malaysia, they only conduct an interview in malaysia for the whole of malaysia, but only one locationm say penang, and people from all over malaysia travel down to penang for the interview, so if pp coming from K.L, J.B, etc. to penang for interview, they got to pay for their own transportation costs (be airplanes, coachs, buses, trains, etc.).

so when u apply to singapore, it seems funny cos singapore is a very small country..

it all apply to every other foreign airlines conducting/recruiting overseas candidates. they won't be so unreasonable at ask a shortlisted candidate from, lets say taiwan to fly all the way to middle east to attend an interview. likewise for SIA, if they are recruiting japanese cabin crew, or taiwaness cabin crew, they do the interviews in japan and taiwan.

Definately agree with Colleen and Charlene...

If you don't even understand simple English, I seriously think you should reconsider becoming a cabin crew and applying to be one! Go brush up your English first!!!

Any ideas when Gulf Air coming to Singapore or Malaysia?

Post by Mandy » Wed, 19 Oct 2005 10:43 am

Dear all,

Any of you know when Gulf Air coming to Singapore or Malaysia for CC recruitment? Will they advertise in newspaper for open day or they will call those shortlisted candidates only to attend the interview?

How many days it takes to complete all interviews?

TQ
