Re: KL or Sin?

Post by jeanettetann » Mon, 17 Oct 2005 11:40 am

hi all...anyone knows why sia often recruit malaysian crews?

is it they are cheaper, diligent or better than singaporean girls( i think so)?

or could they speak better english than our singaporean girls (speak singlish)?

SQ is recruiting m'sian cabin crew, I am a malaysian SPR working in Singapore. I am applying for it this time, and as the last time i applied i indicated i'd like to be interviewed in sin, but not been invited, probably sth else went wrong ...but this time round not sure to indicate preferred interview in KL or sin leh...anyone can advise?

very anxious now even for the application form, as i am not young anymore ;p

Hi cheese,

I had the same problem too.
Apparently we must post a certain number of posts in the forums before we can view private messages, that's why you see the Not Authorised sign.

hey for all those who made it before to the 2nd day of interview, what will be the dress code like? can we go smart casual instead? since we iwll be changing in and out of kerbayas and swimwears. in fact im quite worried abt the water confidence test. are they out to test if we make fantastic swimmers? or we just have to be confident? i hear everyone telling me life jackets will be given...but i kept dreaming that it WONT be. sigh i guess im paranoid....haa :???:

The trend is approximately 50 people will make it to the final round and about 20-30 make it to SIA.

Ger you ah... Don't make me faint yeah? Like what I've told ya later in the night, the procedures are basically those few eh?

For those whom can't swim or something, you will DEFINITELY be provided with a life jacket. Don't look down when you jump and all will be fine? And yes, you can wear your goggle when you jump, so please do not get parnanoid over small trival matters?

Jump = (Goggle + Lifejacket + 3m height) Lifeguard

Lastly, please wear something formal, be it if you're gonna change for either rounds.

1) 50ish applicants into 2nd round
2) 30ish-40 applicants into 3rd round
3) 10ish-20 applicants after tea party
4) unknown applicants after medical

Basically you are on the chopping board every round?

Enjoy!
