Pretty common IME. This is why you don't admit anything, call the cops and don't move the vehicles.

Take pictures of the accident and report it to the police and insurance. You will get it resolved easily.

And he/she is wrong. Nothing is easily resolved in some accidents in Singapore. I know cases that dragged on for almost a decade.

Safest option is to have a dashcam installed, that should speed everything up and help eliminate any doubt if both drivers have "different versions" of events.
