Got home to find the acknowledgement letter in our mailbox in HK after 9 days.

Very efficient service, CPF board!
CPF board has absolutely nothing to do with PR applications. Only ICA. :-k

AND ALL her posts are coming from the 'peens according to her IP addy.
Lot of Peenos stash money in HK :D

And Hong Kong is their escape route out of Philippines if things go south ...

Hmmm.. they're talking about Medishield acknowledgement; so wouldn't that letter come from CPF?

I did the online version so I'm not sure, but my online letter definitely was CPF- and not ICA- stamped.

If you have PR and are a regular working stiff, your employer withholds both employer and employee contribution to CPF, which covers a lot more than just MediShield.

Since MediShield is now applied to all PR's regardless of whether they are in Singapore or not, perhaps the process has changed... get PR approved, get automatically enrolled... still doesn't make much sense though... if you haven't contributed, how do you pay the premium?

Sounds like they have changed the game plan. Once more PR get screwed but do get the same benefits for the same payments. :-k
