Race is Filipino, for ICA. As I have seen on the IC of few Filipino friends of Chinese Descent.

Okayyy. Let's disregard the racial concerns. Back to my question, do I even stand a chance in this time? Lolecureilx wrote:Rightyeqimin wrote:But wouldnt that be weird? I mean Filipino is not even a race.ecureilx wrote:

So is Indian a race ?
And is Sinhalese a race ?
If you say yes to the above (and it is true), then Filipino is a race, so it's under Other, for statistics purposes.
And the closest race Filipinos are associated with is Malay (rumour has it that the first generation Filipinos were actually classified as "MALAY" .. )
I am 99% sure you will not be seen as Chinese by ICA, again, based on Chinoy friends who have Chinese surnames... But you got a 1% chance for the Chinese thing to work in your favour That's my 2 cents.
On the other hand Indonesian Chinese here are recognised for their Chinese blood (and money??? )

23 minus 8 = 15. Lot of loose ends ...Wd40 wrote: Edit: OP seems to have edited post. I am pretty sure I read that she was here for 8 years and was rejected for PR 4 times

Too bad, but for Singapore, Indian is a race, and so is Filipinoyeqimin wrote: And nope Indian is not a race haha
Im just wondering the difference between a malaysian of a chinese descent and a filipino with a chinese descent. Lol i mean it doesnt make any sense to me if they count my race as Filipino without any filipino blood lol.ecureilx wrote:And the 4 time application ?

Good luck.
I feel, knowing that kababayans are known to rarely mingle with locals, plus your age, it maybe working against you for now.
But try after 3 years of employment here . With 3 years income tax returns.
What's the urgency anyway ?
