Traveling to South Africa

Post by BarnabasGao » Tue, 09 Dec 2025 8:15 am

If you are traveling to South Africa for, say, the holidays, would you be willing to take a 5kg box with you? I would be happy to pay you something, and discuss the ways to either have someone retrieve the box (it will be home schooling text and assessment books) or for you to send it along to the people who are eager to receive.

Sure. What could possibly go wrong?

If you are interested to help, what are the dates that you will be traveling, and to where? Post is just not reliable to SA. Takes a long time, often ends up missing. And DHL is too expensive. So am looking for options. We could prepack and then meet up with you. Our friends are out in Mossel Bay Area so would need to be either posted in country or have friends meet up with you where you will be to collect. Thank for responding.

If you're going on a trip, make sure you're well-prepared and have all the necessary paperwork done so you won't encounter any problems. Also, if you're going to South Africa, I suggest Malaysia or Singapore, or Thailand and Vietnam are also great options.
