Coffee machine that can make a Starbucks equivalent cappuccino

Post by abbby » Thu, 23 Jan 2025 2:52 pm

Anyone has recommedations for a coffee machine that can make a Starbucks equivalent cappuccino ? The dulce gusto that I just bought doesn't quite make a good, robust coffee...

Considering Starbucks gets is machinery from a German supplier that doesn’t sell consumer products, I’d guess you wouldn’t be able to duplicate it exactly. Every drink I’ve tried to make at home never comes out exactly as I get outside, no matter how I try… so what I do instead is “own it” and appreciate my “unique to me” drink.

@malcontent I have to agree...I sold off my Nepresso machine thinking the Dulce Gusto could be better choice, but when I started using it at home, it just doesn't feel like Starbucks quality...tho using Starbucks pods..just can't get anything to taste like Starbucks...I guess you're right, I just have to make do with my own coffee.

And one thing...pods milk taste like baby formula...
