Easter Weekend: Science, Snow, Swimming, Supper & Sympho

Post by moto » Wed, 25 Mar 2009 1:00 pm

Hi all,

We all had a great and variety-filled weekend and now I am posting again on behalf of the older/wiser and ECP thread (see below)...

We are planning on having dinner at La Pau Sat at 7pm this Friday, then proceed to "Time Out's 2nd anniversary party." For details and to rsvp, click:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/even ... 3868946877 (unfortunately, you will need a facebook account to get to it)....

NOTE (26/3, 845PM): I just received an email saying those who have not rsvp'd won't be allowed anymore as they have reached capacity... I apologize for this inconvenience.

On Saturday, we will go to Sentosa for a quick dip, intense people watching and profound conversations (mundane works too)... Meeting time is at 3PM by the ticket booth in vivocity. If you want to have snacks before heading to the beach, join us at the nearby food republic by 230PM.

There ya go.... If you know my mobile number, just sms me; if not, PM me for it--it's free (but I'm not hehehe)...

Regards,

Moto

btw, you can also bring page 77 of this month's timeout mag if you do not have facebook rsvp. As usual, I have to go straight since I can't reach the city area that early.

vjsimon,

i usually would give out my number but since you have posted the same message in 12 threads i am not so comfortable doing so to you now... please tone down the multiple postings and choose which threads really appeal to you then go with that group... i think people will appreciate this more rather than this spamming approach.

my apologies if i am offending your sensibilities...

regards,

moto

hi all,

great weekend again everybody... and what better way to start the workweek by talking about the weekend again ;)

this friday, the plan is to have dinner in arab street starting at 7... make your suggestions as to where to eat by wednesday evening then i will sms everyone with the name of the restaurant...

several of us have talked about going to melaka one weekend so i suggest we finalize such plans during dinner. i reckon we need to pair up and book as pairs since twin-sharing is half the price. the target date for the trip is the weekend of 18-19 april since the next two are too early or already booked.

ok... please include your name below if you are joining us...

New to Singapore, almost 30 & would love to join you for dinner on Friday... (un)fortunately, I have tickets to a concert for that night, hence won't be able to make it for 7 pm. So I was thinking... maybe I can join you later. Will you be going out for drinks after dinner...?

Post by moto » Wed, 01 Apr 2009 11:02 pm

the dinner this friday will be at Deli Moroccan, 30 Bussorah St (near Arab St).

you can find the map and reviews at http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/deli_moroccan/

regards and see you... be there early since the space is small and we might be a big gang!
