Personally, race is immaterial in a relationship....... only religion can be any kind of discussion but not race.

Been there, done it, not a problem! Although religion may be a discussion, it shouldn't be made to be a problem...

Also been there, done that. 25 years and going strong! No problem!

You really should use the spell check if you want to carry on a serious discussion. Otherwise we might think you are a Primary 3 student. No, wait, they write better than that!

Even compared to the horrific butchering of the English language usually seen on this board, this stands out as one of the worst. My niece writes better than this and she's seven.

Well I feel for the OP. While I agree that his English is extremely sus', his thread is a good one. And the babies of mixed-race couples are beautiful !
Genetically, the progeny of mixed races should prove to be a valuable addition to the world's population. And one could mention the addition of further racial tolerance that may go hand in hand with the whole idea. Great to read of these personal examples of how well it can work !

I am a result of a mix marriage, and my daughter is further result of my mix marriage, she is ¼ Japanese, ¼ English, ¼ Thai, ¼ Chinese (Malaysian).

I remember years ago people used to say Eurasian, kids will have problems adjusting they don’t know if they should play ping pong or football. I wonder how confused my daughter will be!!

So long as you both have similar interests and goals in life, makes no difference what race you are.

The fact that you have to question it, makes me wonder if its right for you.

That was the result of ignorant times rather than cause, but i agree to hearing things similar.

Hmmm.
Can't imagine why she's "not in any airline yet"?

Anyway, regarding the original question, with love, tolerance, respect and the will to make things work, differences can be overcome. In fact, differences can be a strength. Been married well over 27 years now.

Works for different religions, too.
Had a Catholic colleague that married a Malay woman.
Of course he had to "convert" for the marriage.
They're happy after many years.
