They only take height during the water confidence round. So they must have been elimated after the round. You only make it to management if you pass your water confidence and uniform fitting. They do not take height during your management.

how was it?

Hey dear, I went on Friday at about 3pm?
Proceeded to interview at about 5pm.
Sighs, Very little number of girls got through.
Many groups were like,
"sorry girls, but none of you were selected."
I was really worried that time.
Until my group, there were 3 of us.
Anyways, my WCT is on 19th! So do keep us updated after yours alrite?

Btw, side track: Silkair does not have male cabin crews yea?
Do they ask questions about the airline etc. during the management round?

Thanks! (:
No gal, no male crew on board.

They may ask you about the airlines and background, so do read up before you attend your management. Chances are they would ask you to elaborate a bit more depending on your introduction. So if you talk about your hobby or passion, they may ask you more about it. Typical questions can be: Why do you want to be an air stewardess, Do you do housework, does the idea of cleaning up after people mess irk you etc etc. Also be prepared for rebuttals from the management.

And No, it's not wise to presume that you are safe if you make it to management. Out of like 60 gals, they only take in about 20 to form one batch. It's a matter of convincing the management that you are the one there are looking for. As much as they say it's not a competition, trust me, it is! It's about how you sell yourself to them so talk alot about your CS experience and why YOU think you would be a good choice and how you can contribute to the organization. HTHs. ANyways, all the best to you:)

I'm like so nervous! The anxiety is killing me seriously.
But miz'd, you think roughly how many batches will they form?
1 or 2?

oic.. :-k , well just think of the pain and agony of those who has the height of 158cm..its like they were being accepted for the first round during their height measurement..then took their height again during water confidence round then they say, "sorry your height does not meet our requirement"

are they sick in the head or what, make those girls suffer the torture of waiting for their interview and putting their hopes up so high..

i guess some of the interviewers are more lenient while others are not, because if they are so strict on height issue they should not let anyone go through the first round.. only to be so cruel to them towards the end..and made them thought they almost made it to fulfill their dream.. some interviewers really suck

for me height was never an issue because i am way over the height limit...

From what I heard, they're taking 1 batch at a time but very quickly. Don't let that anxiety kill you yah. Don't hope too much to get to the next round. Take the interview one step at a time and focus on each round. Good luck to those going for the next round. Hope to see you at the briefing room soon!

You are right about that. I would feel very dissapointed too. Perhaps they may change the sequence of the process soon cos height taking should really be one of the processes that should be conducted on the first day of recruitment itself. hmmmmmm..

hi~ juz to share wat i shared with the girls in SIA cabin crew forum... i'm a guy and i went for my WCT about a month plus back.. and while we were waiting for out turn to jump into the water, the person who was despatchin us tol us that the day before there was a girl wearing 2 piece and due to the impact of the jump, her bottom was almost droppin of when she was done with the swim.. so i guess its better to be safe.. :)

Hey dear, cuz mine is actually like tube with bottom.
So i think it's unlikely to show?
They are only afraid of that ah?
Won't affect the results right? I'm only afraid about the results.
Haha. Mine is on the 19th~
U went on Saturday is it? During the intv? Cuz I went on Friday

Maybe they split up to more different days?
I'm not too sure also, but when I was there, they were very strict,
very very small number of girls got through.
