chai ching: oic, yes i read the older threads here for tiger airways..must have deposit in the bank..yea its so risky.

don't think i am interested to go for this...i don't think no bond, coz the ad said no bond upon completion of program..meaning before completion there is bond..and for many people coughing out 8k or 10k before starting a new job..is not a small amount..

by the way, congrats on finding a new job. :D

ya me too. im not interested of going anymore. have you send out
your JAL form yet? actually tigerair is not a good airline to join.
i know the reason why we must have S$8,000.

listen up for those peoples who are trying out this saturday for the
walk in interview. ask my friend who's still flying with tiger air.
she say we have to fork out S$8,000K is for those without a diploma cert. as for those who have diploma cert might be exemption.

thats what she told me that. but dont know is it true?
so those peoples out there, better think twice and carefully again.
thats my advice for those peoples trying out. good luck to those
trying out.

cheers!

Hi chai ching! So you mean that those who have a diploma or higher might be exempted from having to freeze the 8k in their accounts isit? If that's the case I seriously dun mind. But is this for sure?

Hi Hi Desijoey,

Yup thats right. Think should be. Thats what my friend say so.
She say should be like that. So dont know whether is it really
true? Or if you want, can go down on saturday personally and
ask them?

So you mean that you have diploma cert? Or you dont mind paying
for S$8,000K?

Anybody here going?
Is this solely Tiger Airways or a joint effort between TR and Sass Atlantic?
Yes. It is, it is one of those fly and study for a diploma programme but those with diplomas can opt to just fly.No wories at all.

It was published in Strait Times on Wednesday. Go for the walk-in interview tomorrow(16th) at Furama Riverfront.

It varies from case to case, you can still join without having to do the dip. program if you are selected. Just go and listen to their briefing tomorrow. My friend is going as well.

i think the freezing of $8k in the account is crap. i mean like sponsorship of diploma people may be attracted as they do not have that money to further studies thus would be good for them. if they could afford $8k upfront, they might as well study private school outside on their own.

i feel that the 8k bond is actually depriving some hopefuls who are less privileged from attaining their dreams as an FA. :(
