help my aunt to ask for help

Post by habisakitia » Wed, 11 Dec 2019 11:44 am

Helping my aunt to ask for some help. She is currently back from Japan, she found a tiny brown bug inside her luggage. She believes that was a bedbug, maybe got it from her house in jap or on the plane. She has immediately cleaned the luggage, but she is still worried about it. Any suggestions for what she could do? She wants to know what that she could do it herself instead of finding a company to do. Because she has budget. Thanks!

It sounds like your aunt is on the right track! She can wash and dry all clothes from the luggage on high heat to kill any potential bedbugs. Vacuuming the luggage and surrounding areas, then sealing the vacuum bag, is also a good idea. If she’s still worried, natural bedbug sprays or powders might help. Just keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks—hopefully, it’s nothing!

It’s been 6 years, so your advice comes a little too late… the OP’s aunt is back in happily back in Japan while the bugs left in Singapore have multiplied and are wreaking havoc across the island.
