The Rojak team

Post by dory1316 » Fri, 12 Sep 2008 10:52 am

hey! Good sense of humour!

in M'sia/Singapore, we have a fruit dish called "Rojak". it is a mix of various fruits like mango, cucumber, guava, pineapple, etc chopped up into small pieces with some crackers & you tiao. Then a few scoops of prawn paste is belnded into it and some sprinkle of peanuts is added to it. When something is very mixed, we would say, "Rojak!"

So, i guess the Irish team is a rojak of Nationalities.

haha!

Good luck for tomorrow's race!

cheers!

Hi all!

We had a great turn-out the Saturday before last, and once again we will be taking the dragon boat out for a paddle this Saturday afternoon and welcome anyone who wants to come along for some fun & fitness.

(followed by a few beers)

Boat leaves the sandy Kallang beach at 3pm sharp...

Other details:
What to wear? hmm... something comfortable and you don't mind getting a bit wet.. on that note perhaps also good to bring a change of clothes.

What to bring? a smile, some energy and ... hmm anything else u like.. but don't really need to bring anything in particular (as there'll be paddles, life jackets, and refreshment) oops i forgot to mention SGD$10
