Build a restaurant… is that how Hawaiians call it?

You will need a couple hundred thousand of startup capital just to get approved to create your restaurant. Be prepared to spend twice as much by the time you get through with build out, permitting, and finding workers. Rental costs are very high.

I have my doubts that this person is from the 808 state. Saying “building” instead of “opening” a restaurant strikes me as odd. But then again, I’m not an expert on Hawaiian English.

I'm thinking along the same line F&B is the toughest industry.. High cost, high turnover, takes time to build customer base..
