Yes, Malaysia’s traffic is a crazy mess! If you are after saving time though, then taking the bus or car definitely seems like a smart choice.

Driving to Malaysia is far less convenient than taking a bus or plane, which is much faster. The last time I drove to Malaysia, I was stuck in traffic for 2 hours. I was really going to collapse

I usually try to time my drives in/out of Malaysia the weekend JUST AFTER a major holiday, and have had good success, 15-30 mins max crossing time… I also target to come back before 2pm on Sunday.
