inquire for Lenovo Ideapad Y470/570

my laptop is gonna to spoil and decided to buy a brand new laptop..^^
I found that lenovo ideapad y470 is suitable for me and come with an affordable price with higher system specifications....

hereby i wish to know u all suggestion and comment about this model of laptop...thanks ^^

i've heard that lenovos are linux-friendly--most of the hardware are already supported and not much fancy-shmancy features that just add fluff (I'm looking at you, acer).

if for me, I have ubuntu on my laptop and it's doing a fine job of harnessing all that power for some processing-heavy stuff that I do on this machine.

if for op, if they just want teh facebookz, yeah, chrome os is fine, unless they wantses an ipad

Well based from my friend's exp, it boots faster than MacBook Pro and is really very linux-friendly. he graphics is great but it's kind of expensive and heavy.

laptop these days are pretty much neck to neck with each other. there's no one laptop that can blow everyone else out. just pick the one you can afford and like.
