Did anyone receive an sms from amazon before? With the message saying
Amazon: Sign-in attempt from CO,US. Tap Link to respond.
I am just thinking...legit? Should i tap and respond?
The mentioned scam is based on the Amazon practice to verify attempts to log in from different devices and sometime even browsers. Using vpn, not really from my experience.midlet2013 wrote: ↑Fri, 12 Mar 2021 1:03 pmWere u using VPN. I do get it if Amazon thinks I am logging from outside SG
In general never click any links related to any critical services you are subscribed to if you are not sure they point to the genuine sites. There are countless tutorials/handbooks how to tell what is a phishing email/sms and what is not and everybody should read them and learn.Amazon Logo Image
