Proving once again, the old adage that "everything in Malaysia half works."

While they have put in a delay I do believe this VEP will eventually "stick".
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.

They do seem more serious about it this time around. I have often seen the signs about VEP when driving across the border, but simply ignored them, even when crossing this year. I always figured there would be a major hoo-ha if they actually started enforcing it. I also noticed that “regulars” who cross now tend to have VEP on their vehicles, just to play safe. Probably scared that M’sia will pull a fast one on them and kena fine… that is always possible.

surprisingly it improves the traffic situation to a certain extent, as less people willing to travel in first few weeks of oct. Now its getting back to normal.

I think they are serious this time too. However, i really dont like sticking things in my car wind screen, uGLy. The Singapore new ERP system is ugly enough!!!

VEP is a joke! Why do you need to show proof of transfer with the LTA letters and all your particulars whenever you change your car?

I suspect many will just stop driving to JB until they sort it out. Traffic on the causeway seems smoother I heard.

I hope they grill that arsehole Sultan/King over it. Maybe have him beaten hard with a hockey stick.

Or crushed by a palette full of VEP tags.
