What?! And do what with it?
To let AI learn your voice and then the scammers call your family members, play an AI generated conversation using your voice in a distressed tone and your loved ones would think you’ve been kidnapped or you need money.
Voice actors in the US have been against AI generated voices and do not consent to their voices being used like this since fans use these AI voices for… fantasies to put it lightly.
Pair audio AI with video deepfakes and you’ll think it’s the real deal. Kamala Harris has fallen victim to a deepfake shared by Elon Musk.

Voice authenticated security access is also vulnerable. Quite frankly, that seems like a terrible security measure at this point in time.

One scam which I thought was quite dangerous and surprising was for people entering the country just for a stopover/short stay. Recently when passing through I got an SMS that seemed to come from ICA with a special link but the wording itself was slightly less-than-professional so I ignored it and just reported it via the app/site.
But it's still surprising how the scammers would know... that you entered the country.

Omg and how would they know... scary how they work.
Those automated scam calls I have report 30+ calls numbers but so far only 2 were convicted. Not sure why so little..

Scamming is industrial scale now. So much of the back end is automated. I'm sure you've seen videos of the scam compounds and how one guy can running an entire wall of phones at once.
Don't speak to strangers. Don't answer calls (whatsapp is safer now IMO that POTS).
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or

Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

One scam that I've come across frequently (albeit overseas) is one where I'm called that I have some unclaimed Bitcoin. It must be done on a large scale because I've had a few dozen calls (less nowadays), ale all the time it seems to be someone else calling and you can hear some background noice, as if this was some sort of call centre. Crazy stuff...
