Brazil seems like it would be a photographer's paradise... absolutely gorgeous!nakatago wrote: ↑Wed, 15 Mar 2023 6:52 amThe rise of Instagram kinda ruined photography for me. I was in Brazil for a couple of weeks and I barely used my camera. Lots of phone snaps though.
That said, I recently moved to mirrorless and have been trying to get my mojo back. Probably won't bother with models because it'll be hard to filter out the vapid ones.

Yup. And honestly, what are they even saying he lied about? Can't substantiate any of their claims.tiktok wrote: ↑Wed, 08 Mar 2023 8:50 amThis is more sickening than stupid:

The article talks about his Facebook post but provides no link to it - here it is: https://www.facebook.com/10004437634134 ... 039472634/
The article strongly insinuates that he's done something wrong, when anyone with half a brain can see his brother is abusing government power to overturn the clear wishes their father put in his last will and expressed multiple times before his death.

It's a mildly embarrassing family drama but I see more buzz online about the price of chicken rice. Singaporean = practical.

Except this one photo of Praia de Ipanema; that was great.

True, but clearly this approach hasn't worked on the entire population. Just most of it.tiktok wrote: ↑Sun, 19 Mar 2023 6:59 amThat's exactly what the government wants people to focus on. Just very unsettling to see firsthand how some of the family members who are supposed to be upstanding and law-abiding manipulate the law for their own agendas.jalanjalan wrote: ↑Sun, 19 Mar 2023 2:53 pmor maybe because it's more relevant to our lives. The whole affair doesn't unsettle me, as I'm not privy to who really did what. I believe investigations are ongoing and I dare say they'll get to the bottom of it.Lisafuller wrote: ↑Sun, 19 Mar 2023 9:58 pmJust very unsettling to see firsthand how some of the family members who are supposed to be upstanding and law-abiding manipulate the law for their own agendas.jalanjalan wrote: ↑Sun, 19 Mar 2023 2:53 pmor maybe because it's more relevant to our lives. Re: Stupid news articles
LHL is desperate for popularity. The Merdeka generation are dying off and getting diluted by immigrants. He has the charisma of a stone.jalanjalan wrote: ↑Sun, 19 Mar 2023 2:53 pmor maybe because it's more relevant to our lives. His best bet is to to milk his father's legacy for all it's worth.
But unfortunately for him, LKY left no statues, memorials, parks or roads named after him, not even a grave. People are forgetting about him. What's needed is to preserve the Lee family home, make into a kind of shrine to Singapore's founders, and a focus for the idea that the Lee family and the PAP are rightful rulers for eternity. Don't forget LHL's son is being groomed to take over - 3 generations of Lee's anyone?
That's what's really behind this drama. Every Singaporean should be aware how they are being manipulated.
