Hong Kong stocks plunged overnight
Hong Kong stocks plunged overnight
With some companies plunging as much as 78% will these big companies go bust? Maybe someone who's familiar with stocks can shed some insights?

US-China trade war uncertainty, as simple as that.

What company plunged 78%? The Hang Seng index was UP this morning.

tiktok, if you took the time to actually read the OP's post, you might not look so much like a troll.
Re: Hong Kong stocks plunged overnight
Thanks for another personal attack, sms. I've lost count of the times I've been called a troll by you.
The subject of this thread is "Hong Kong stocks plunged overnight". Well, they didn't. So naturally the claim of a single stock dropping by 78% might be questionable.
Anyway I checked and it's true, kind of, except that it happened last Tuesday not "overnight". But this kind of volatility is not unusual in hk.
If trolling is setting the record straight, I'm happy to do so and you're welcome!

You would expect it's more an exception to the rule, dumping a huge volume will do this to the price:abbby wrote: ↑Mon, 02 Dec 2019 7:42 pmThink its China First Capital Group?

Re: Hong Kong stocks plunged overnight
TROLL. It didn't say the stock market in general crashed. Some means just what the dictionary says. The title is absolutely correct, "Hong Kong stocks" (did not specify how many or how few but that it happened). Did NOT say the Hang Seng crashed."With some companies plunging as much as 78% will these big companies go bust?"
And yes, if it walks like a troll, talks like a troll, acts like a troll, it's a troll.
Re: Hong Kong stocks plunged overnight
And what's "overnight" mean? Without context, it means last night.
The title says "Hong Kong stocks overnight". Not "some stocks crashed a few days ago". I just thought that some clarification was in order.
Look, I know moderating this forum is a thankless and frustrating task, and perhaps you're even getting a little of the grumpy old man syndrome, but must you pick fights with everyone for no reason?
Have a nice day.

And as for trolling, a better example of that would be a man jumping onto a thread where ladies are discussing makeup, and saying it'll make them look like cadavers.
