Re: Approval chance and absence from Singapore

I reckon you have already set yourself up for a fall again. You applied before having been here for at least two years and that is why you were more or less promptly rejected. Anecdotal wisdom suggest a wait of two years from date of rejection before reapplying and then ONLY if your profile has chan...

Re: PR REP Renewal

Normally words like “you must” are followed by words like “failure to do so could result in…” but as far as I know, such wording only exists if you are outside of Singapore when it expires. I noticed that many who have PR here are under the false impression that REP renewal = PR renewal. This is si...

Re: Passport renewal

My first international flight was considerably closer and was a bicentennial flight out of the country (I got married the 2nd time on the 4th of July 1976. The next morning we caught a flight to Grand Cayman Island for a couple weeks of honeymooning & diving. No other International flights until I d...

Re: Covid situation not looking so good?

If everyone had an anti-body test then we would know who to protect. Or am I missing something? https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing/antibody-testing-to-check-if-youve-had-coronavirus/ Blanket approach to boosters is bad health policy at individual level. From your link..........

Re: PR REP Renewal

My wife and daughter’s REP expires this Dec, and unless we have plans to travel, I was thinking there is probably no hurry to renew this. But does renewing it late send any signals? I will renew it on time. Reason is see the below line from ICA If you have a valid REP, you must renew it online usin...

Age of Majority is 21. You are an adult and can no longer fly on you parent(s) coattails. Family Ties doesn't apply. That was for tempotrack's misleading reply.

Re: PR REP Renewal

Doesn't seem to, I've renewed 2x since then. Just remember that forgetting to renew it is a distinct possibility although one would think you would remember, but life's like that. Throw you a curveball when you don't expect it.

Re: PMLA rejected

ICA/MOM hedging their bets. Wife is SGC, Spouse WP holder, MOM rejected PMLA, marry anyway. Apply and get LTVP. Normally LTVP good for one year. As salaries both very low, Gahment hoping SGC spouse gets married and produces male offspring. Automatic SGC. After that, Gahment probably refuse to renew ...

Re: PR REP Renewal

If it is rejected as final, it depends on whether or not you are currently in Singapore. If you can get into Singapore (and survive, financially until your new position starts you will be okay. However, it is essential that you managed to get into (e.g., through immigration) while your REP is still ...

Still not enough info to make a opinioned guess based what has been furnished thus far. Surely you have researched this board and read a considerable number of profiles if for no other reason than to see if any like you own. But you still give us information that is vague so all we can give you are ...

Re: How to lose weight?

I love all this weight loss sniping and people who are not dietary nutritionists or anything remotely related. I'd love to know how many kg you have lost, how long it took you to lose it and how long you managed keep the weight off. I care less about the diet itself. As long as you are eating proper...
