Re: Singapore PR Chances 2021

Newbies trying to make waves is being respectful. Especially considering you are coming from a country that still uses the caste system I believe I'd try to tone it down a little. Where I come from my elders and parents always told me to the make sure you sweep off your own back porch before talking...

Re: Singapore PR Chances 2021

I dont get it, so I need 100 posts to raise any concerns about racism? :???: No. Hopefully by the time you get to 100 posts, your skin may (maybe?) get a little bit thicker as at the moment you are pretty thin-skinned. You won't get far that way and you probably actually have something to c...

Re: Singapore PR Chances 2021

Given the current political climate I thought the hot topic being contended is foreigners-taking-the-jobs, so I believe its the EP numbers that will trickle down and thats probably the knob the gahmen might use for political purposes. I dont think the 2200 PRs distributed per year to Indians matter...

Re: Working freelance in Singapore

Oh, and seeing your confusion between the two terms, you can call IRAS as ask your question but phrase it wrongly and you will probably get two different answers especially if you don't realize there are two different terms in play.

Re: Working freelance in Singapore

MD gave you the links. It's a shame you don't understand the written word. and the difference between Overseas income and Resident earned income from a foreign source. If there wasn't a difference they would have used two different terms to describe the differences. Try going back and reading the li...

Re: Singapore PR Chances 2021

Looks like we got us a new troll (with only 11 posts) and he thinks everybody is going to bow to his punctured ego. Just what we need, a prata-flipping troll who thinks he's going to school all our long-terms prata-flippers. And yeah, I should be offended as well, as I've been married to female prat...

Re: Gmail

Isn't the term folder and labels the same in actual usage? Isn't it just bits added to files to lump them on a screen view when actually the individual files are all over the place on the storage platform? Could call them jars but I thinks another coding platforms already uses that term. Or am I mis...

Re: Working freelance in Singapore

MD, Just let him froth at the mouth as he is want to do. It is plainly spelled out as you have linked and as IRAS has confirmed with us in the past. As long as you have put it in plain view all here will know who has the straight poo and who is just farting out his arse. Remember, he's just a reside...

I didn't like being compared to the old mix doctor (the old bearded guy) by my son. Thought him & I were dopplegangers. LOL Will give it a 2nd look as well guess.

Re: Disney plus

Well, after 4 episodes of Squid Games, I'm still not impressed. I've had Ozark on the watch list for literally months but haven't even looked at it. But I have to admit, I've never watched Breaking Bad either.

Just watch Ep's 1 & 2 of Squid Games before dinner. Might check back in later to see if it actually gets any better. Not impressed thus far.

Re: HR timeline

Hang in there. Let's face it, for the last 20 months or so, the world has been turned on it's head and we just have to make allowances for stuff that doesn't work according to Hoyle as it did in the past.

Re: HR timeline

Okay. Can't help there. I have little to no exposure to banking systems, either front facing or back end or IT. But had we been talking construction, O&G, Civil infrastructure then what often happens is a job doesn't really exist (yet). Often tenderers are required to know the project mgmt teams in ...
