Re: Moving from AP to IB curriculum in Grade 10

The fact that you are asking about a move that would have taken place in the past suggests you are probably a scammer who has copied someone else’s question. In any case, each system has its own merits. The IB is very well regarded among most colleges for its rigor and difficulty. However, it is a d...

Re: Expats get covid letter for vaccination?

I got my 1st shot yesterday, and no side effects to mention. well this morning the muscle area where it was shot is a bit sensitive if you push on it. But that's what I get also from normal flushots. So wouldn't consider it a side effect really. It was quite busy in the vaccination center, so looks...

Disney plus is really good. Worth the 10+ dollar value
Yes, the price point is a huge plus (pun-intended). Far more value for money than Netflix.

However, the use by dates aren't an indication when the stuff has to be thrown out, but only an approximate time before the item loses some of it flavour. (Half-Life of all the chemical additives?) Is this true? I have always been under the impression that the use by dates, like the name suggests, ...

Re: Citizenship application Outcome standing for over 2 years

I see I have got two likes for my first post, from @smoulder and @juggernaut. Would you two like to contribute, or do you want me to fight (for you and your fellow Indians) by myself? Indians have a bad rep already for being weaklings - as much as I don't like racist posts against you guys, I have ...

Re: giant directory of primary 1 registration balloting histories for your reference

Can you also tell me whether these schools offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs? I am an expert, and currently looking for some good IB schools in Singapore for my kids. Although I've found some options but still undecided as to which to choose. I need your honest opinion. Thank you!...

Application rejected yesterday after over 10 months of waiting. No question or additional information request came in.
Oh dear, sorry about that. Are you planning to re-apply immediately? It might be a good idea to wait a little while.

Re: Is Disney Plus worth subscribing??

I’ve heard pretty great things about Grey’s Anatomy, I’m just not sure I want to commit myself to 17 long seasons.

Re: Is Disney Plus worth subscribing??

My sentiments exactly. At some point, I just got sick of netflix, almost as if there was nothing new to watch. Disney+ is great, give it a try for a month, toy have nothing to lose really.

Re: Is Value dollar shop, a good place to shop ?

I hear that. I live within 5 minute walk of a Value Dollar shop and a wee bit longer walk at one in NEX. I tend to buy Snickers bars by the box (24 bars for $12) could save 20 more cents by buy the packs of 6 but I like the convenience of just throwing the box in the fridge. Bounty are also consume...

Yes, the candy and chocolate are good value for money, but i try not to go over there too often as they will affect our health if we consume too much I hear that. Re: Big retailers cannot be complacent

It’s really unfortunate. I miss going to the department stores like Robinsons and BHG with my family on weekends. Now, I do almost all my shopping online because most of these stores have closed for good. While I do appreciate the convenience, the experience is rather impersonal and I miss getting t...

Re: Is Disney Plus worth subscribing??

Yes, definitely recommend. I’ve had it since its introduction in Singapore about a month ago. The app is easy to use on the iPhone and the iPad, I haven’t used it on my Mac yet since I use it for work. For the sheer variety of programs available, I think its worth the price. I’m currently watching b...
