I'm just curious, why do you want to apply at US MNC's? I ask because the question you are asking indicates that your educational level is not all that high that would warrant an MNC's attention. Other than a clerk/admin assistant's type of position that is. If your are looking for a managerial job ...

Pradipsh1t, If you want to crack ethnic jokes please do them at your own expense, not others. Now it's not that funny is it? IMO, that was uncalled for. You didn't have to take it personally. It was just a joke, nothing specifically directed towards people or women from Minnesota, USA. It isn't an ...

Selection of Reef fishes in Singapore or her outlying isles not that great. In the region of course lots but it might be a bit rough trying to collect that way and be able to get them back without adverse effects. Can probably collect freshwater specimens in Malaysia but have never tried the freshwa...

hjbf, I built my own Salt water aquarium years ago before the advent of using tempered glass and built it out of 12mm glass. (250 Gallon tank) Bloody heavy. At the end of the day while it was cheaper to build it myself I no longer think that is the case. If you are like me and prefer DIY for the sat...

SE,

I actually used that once about 3 years ago with my former boss here in Singapore (maybe that one reason I'm no longer there?!?). Gay local chinese bosses have a rather low threshhold of abuse or sense of fun.

ferngirl, The obvious solution is to give your daughter dual citizenship until she is 21 and always let her know that she will eventually make a choice when she reaches there. What I don't suggest is that you try "to decide what her best options are" as ultimately you cannot live her life for her. W...

Let's ask Kermit & Miss Piggy!

If your wife's stallion follows her around and no longer sniffs around the fillies in the barnyard I'd say he is suffering emotionally wouldn't you?

Now to provoke the Kiwi's.........ahhhh never mind!

FamilyOfFive, Yes, you need to be very, very careful here in Singapore. A lot of food dishes are cooked with Peanuts (groundnuts they're quite often called). Also lots of sauces here are made with ground up peanuts (Like Satay's peanut sauce), or are cooked in peanut oil. No, There are not labeling ...

Re: Expat Tradesmen in Singapore

Does such a creature as a Expat tradesman exist in this country....... I have only seen a few "Tradesmen" get jobs here in Singapore. This was some 8-10 year ago when a bunch of Aussies with specialists skills in a type of concrete slipform construction was used to build something down around CHIJM...

Re: Jet Star Asia

Any one have tried Jet Star Asia? Do they provide any lunch or drinks or nothing but a seat? eventhough a bottle of water, you have to pay! don't forget, water adds weight to the takeoff weight of the plane therefore using up more jet fuel, therefore they have to recover the costs as it is a budget...
