My experience with Taobao is quite positive..I find their items rather unusual and many are not found on other sites like Aliexpress, lazada and Shopee. Shipping is faster than Aliexpress if there's no lockdown in China.

Am glad the 2 men got their punishment. I can imagine the driver's embarrassment, fear and insult he had to endure during the journey, but the driver was still very responsible in in carrying out his duties although he was so badly harassed. What's the agreement between you and the sub-tenant? I need you would need to look into the finer details of both your agreement..was there any terms spelled out in the agreement or your side agreement that either party (you or her) can terminate the room lease for whatever reason?

I think depends on:

1. Cost of repair for the leak
2. Possibility of recurrence
3. Age of current fridge

vs cost of a new set

I am not certain if you should buy a 2nd hand one because it's used and does not carry a warranty and you would end up repairs again.

I do not know the neighbour, but if you were me, would you tell your neighbour about their helper bringing a foreign worker home when they were away?
