In 40 years I've not heard of an appeal working. However, I've heard of appeals failing and subsequently applying 2 years later and being approved. [I'm one of them]
Well then it wouldn’t be considered an appeal anymore, would it? Just a failed appeal and subsequent application success.

Re: PR Approval Probability 2021

It can be either electronic or physical. What matters is the content if it is really valid to turn the decision. In most cases, appeals fail Any idea of appeal success rates? I’ve still yet to personally hear of a success story, Very very low unless something drastic was accidentally missed out in ...

Re: PR reapplicant chances

Having a child in SG may indicate a commitment to building a family and life in SG, so I wouldn’t say it does nothing. Just maybe not as much of an effect as if it were a boy who could serve NS.

Re: 4 men charged over Covid19 breaches in New Years eve

How come only 4 charged when it looked like a few hundred people crowding in Clarke Quay? https://www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/4-men-charged-clarke-quay-new-year-eve-crowd-covid19-2458001 I think its ridiculous, but I’m sure the reason must have just been that they weren’t able to find out the...

Probably all that face recognition software was able to get a good lock on.
If I’m not mistaken they were caught because they had stupidly posted videos of themselves partying while the other hundred had been smart enough to at least retain their anonymity.

Could be to reduce the appearance of scars or just to change the face shape.

This is so true. One negative takes away the hundreds of positives.

I see. In that case, my advice would just be to wait it out. They’ll get to you eventually, you just have to be patient.

Re: Are we seeing less cinemas in the future?

Recently caught Spiderman at the theater, the atmosphere was something that could not be replicated at home. All the Spider-Man fans wearing their themed masks, shirts, costumes, the excitement didn’t stop from when the movie started rolling to the post-credits scene.

Re: Is it safe to let my child play outdoors?

When my daughter was younger, the rule was that she could play outside until the streetlights came on, usually around 7 PM. Helped that she was afraid of the dark back then, I never had to worry about her showing up on time.

Re: In Search of Answers from the US

Valid to consider if taking such a big move is something you want to do during the pandemic. I understand that with no real end it sight it may feel counterintuitive to wait for things to “clear up” but I would say do not make the move until you have secured a stable position here. The cost of livin...

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone moving a hamster overseas. Frankly I’m not sure if a long flight would be the best idea for such a small animal.

Look at the MG range Abby. They are the best value in the EV space right now.
Are they as “techy” though? I feel like most of the appeal of Teslas is how futuristic they are, the huge touch screen and the features that come with it really sets it apart from other cars.

Re: Tesla

I read recently that something around 300 Teslas were registered in Singapore last month alone, they’ve become the most popular EV in Singapore in terms of sales. I’d expect this kind of popularity to see an accompanying increase in charging ports to keep up with demand. There is a major gahmen pus...
